Announcement    Some of these items may have sold and not been taken out of the store since the sell on etsy app has become more difficult to use for inventory. This is more likely true for little items such as barrettes and bracelets than more ornate items - those I can keep track.
Not to worry. If I should discover this to have happened, I will contact you right away and let you know I am making it on demand. This may add another day or two at most for shipping. If you wish to contact me before ordering I can double check for you.

I have recently switched cements, and discovered I must switch back. After leaving my flasks in a hot car for a week, I noticed that the backs of the covers had pulled away from the metal. They are in no danger of coming off as they are stitched in place as well as cemented, but it does leave a small gap between the cover and the concave back of the flask. If you have purchased one made from January through July of 2018, and the back has pulled away, that is probably the cause. I will be happy to fix this.

Spring is nearly here! After a couple of seasons of shows I am discovering that I need to adjust my pricing to be able to afford to do them :) :/ Generally this looks like a 20% increase across the board, so my business can get paid for all the incidentals of running itself other than my previous materials plus production hours only formula.
THE GOOD NEWS, so to speak, is that I am only applying the new pricing as items come up for renewal here. ALSO, if you have favourited an item prior to its increase, and decide to buy it before Christmass 2017 - I will discount it back to the older pricing.

Again, if you want to order on a weekend or Monday, please convo me to be sure it did not sell at a show. On the occasion that someone might order an item I have not updated yet, I will contact you immediately, and attempt to recreate it as closely and quickly as possible.

During this busy fall season, please contact me before purchasing an item on or right after a weekend. Sometimes getting my shop inventory caught up with in person sales lags a bit. [the etsy app is slow and glitchy for in person sales of late - bar code tags and scanning would really help the etsy app, if anyone there is paying attention]
Not to worry, I will happily make another of any item as needed, but it may add an extra day or so to the turn around time, and colour and hue may be slightly different, though approximate. Of course, you have the opportunity to pick the colour if you wish, so that may be a silver lining.

I have found that a few items I have made, and sold, in the last few months had an insufficient finish, and did not have the level of water resistance I would like, or may allow the stain to come through if wet.

As a result of this discovery, I have retired Tandy's Super Shene and am now using their "Professional Finish" - which seems to have a performance at least equal to the older Super Shene - if not better. After being told that there has been no change to the former's formula, I tried several lots and got the same dismal results. All such sales were recent and in person (nor have I had anyone complain yet), but as this is my listed contact place I am putting this announcement here.

I will pay shipping to refinish any such items if you have one, with a much better final coating.
